How this tool works

  1. 1 Select your destination country. The tool loads that country's microchip, rabies vaccine, titer test, and health-certificate requirements.
  2. 2 Enter your travel date. The tool counts backwards from that date to give you target deadlines for each step.
  3. 3 The checklist is ordered: microchip first, then rabies vaccine (which must come after microchipping for many destinations), then the titer test and its mandatory wait period, then the health-certificate window.
  4. 4 Print or screenshot the checklist and bring it to your vet. Every item links to the official authority page for confirmation.
  5. 5 Start early. Some destinations — especially Japan, Australia, and New Zealand — require 6–12 months of lead time.
